Winner Segway tour

Roel van der Mark from Oud-Beijerland has won the Segway tour for 4 persons. He was one of the visitors who has beaten our air-hockey robot during the event Industrial Automation & Drives in Utrecht. Through a lottery among all registered visitors, Roel came out as the winner. On October 23 we symbolically handed him the prize. The location and date of the Segway tour will be determined in consultation with Roel. Of course we will report this event on our website, the various social media and in our newsletter.

With a lot of registered visitors this exhibition was very successful for Apex Dynamics. The air-hockey robot was a real eye catcher and those who dared to challenge the robot did everything to defeat him. Besides the air-hockey robot there was much interest in the range of planetary and spiral bevel gearboxes of Apex Dynamics. There were also several Apex Dynamics gearboxes spotted in applications of other exhibitors during the Industrial Automation & Drives , but also at the Macropak which was held simultaneously.

A critical note is the total number of visitors to the event, Industrial Automation & Drives. Despite all the efforts of the organization, but also of the exhibitors it seems exhibitions are out of favor with visitors. Too bad because an event like this with various innovations and public attractions is the ultimate medium to establish contacts between supply and demand in the fascinating world of the motion control.

The next event on which Apex Dynamics will participate is the SPS in Nuremberg Germany, maybe we will meet you there again!
